That would be "college" students.
If you have no retail store, you're in big trouble. Students or the general public tend to want to see the actual clothing and try them on before purchasing. Direct marketing would not be effective, even if you offer HUGE discounts.
If you have a physical store location, see if the college has a newsletter or newspaper that allows advertising. Otherwise, offer student discounts, with signs that are big and bold in the windows. Then, if you have clothing they like at good prices, the word will spread on it's own.

One of the most targeted places to reach college students is facebook.com. In fact, if are a college alumni and you get a Facebook account, you can typically buy 10,000 ad impressions for $5 - $20:

http://www.facebook.com

I think any normal advertiser can buy 2500 impressions for around $5 without setting up a Facebook account.

Visit the website and go to the advertiser link to see what program would be best for you. I am confident that you can target specific colleges with any of your Facebook advertisements.

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,

You may want to make a myspace page and show pics of your clothing items and request college students as friends and spread the word..craigslist is also a good source

If you are a college student, advertise in your local school paper and facebook.com.

If you are not a college student, try advertising through local school news papers and through companies like Google Adwords.
