Is the Canada politically similar to the UK?
They seem quite similar to me. Both are fairly free-market capitalist economies, but also run social programmes alongside that such as government-run health care and various unemployment and social benefits. Canada also follows the "Westminster" system of politics, and at the moment both at the moment have a coalition government, with the Conservative parties of both countries being the majority party.
Both countries also have a similar level of multiculturalism, and both countries have a similar level of political correctness. The more I think about it the politics of the two countries seem almost identical. Canada and the UK seem to be very much in sync with each other. Ads |

There is still free speech in Canada, whereas there is not in the UK if you speak out against the government or the Muslims who say they will kill the people in the government.
