Will a Twitter name change, change all the names on previous tweets?

I wanna change my Twitter username. I saw the option in settings. Will that change the twitter username seen by people when they look at my past tweets? Will it change the name that was used when other people tagged me in tweets?

I'm not sure about when other people tagged you in tweets, but i do believe that it will change how other people view your name, even on past tweets.
