Why am I not getting tweets?

So I've been having tweets sent to phone for about a year now. But recently I have not been getting any of them. I checked my twitter and it still says I'm getting them. So I don't know what it is?
Also i don't have a twitter app on my phone. I put my number in on twitter to get text messages when people i choose to get tweets from tweet. But i only get them from one person now.

which app are you using, I know I had an update for Twitter app on Google Play recently

are you able to sign in form your phone, have you maybe changed password on account but not yet on phone?
