How do I change my profile pic?

My Yahoo Answers pic just has either a blank smiley face or an exclamation point (!). I want one of those little people faces it looks like everyone designs for their profile but don't know how to put it on. TIA

Go to your Yahoo! profile page (click on the 'Hi, K' button near the 'Sign Out' button at the top of the web page screen after you sign in), click on your profile picture, and then click on the 'Upload Photo' box. This will take you to your 'Open' file box where you can select photos and pictures from your computer files.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to get one of those cartoon faces on a profile; I think you can make them elsewhere on the Yahoo! site...

LATER: I found it! Go to the Yahoo! Avatars section of the site from the list of Yahoo! sites on the home page. I don't know much about creating avatars from there, but I'm sure there will be instructions.

You can use a photo or a Yahoo! cartoon avatar, and if you have a Facebook or Twitter account, you can also use those avatars.

Go to: http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/privacy/ - make sure your profile isn't hidden, because if it is, your avatar won't show.

If you want a cartoon avatar, go here to create one: http://avatars.yahoo.com/ - then click on "Yahoo!" under "Export your Avatar".

In case you want to use a Facebook or Twitter avatar, you need to link those accounts in the Profile options.

You have several options in case you want a photo avatar:
a) go to your Yahoo! Answers settings at http://answers.yahoo.com/my-activity/edit/about , click "Update photo or avatar",
b) go to your Yahoo! Profile at http://profile.yahoo.com/ , click on the current avatar.
Now upload a picture or choose one of the pics you've uploaded previously.
