Whats better an Ipad, Windows Surface or a Kindle Fire HD?

So for xmas i get to pick something i really want and at first i wanted a Windows Surface but then i started looking into a Kindle because i read alot of book and lets face it they are kind of expensive to buy via paper but then my mother said why not get an Ipad.......

So i need help which one should i get and which one is actually better

I read alot
Skype alot
Facebook and twitter alot
and shop alot online

I dont know which one to get and price isnt really an issue and please dont say get them all because i would if i could but i cant

My brother has an iPad for Christmas , it's not bad definitely , I though have a iPhone 5 and. It is amazing , out of any of these devices I recommend the iPhone 5 , definitely, so much space and it is so fast and when I'm on the road I can still access the Internet without wifi !! Using LTE it's amazing , recommend it totally.

If budget is of no concern to you, why not get the most newest or expensive?

Ipad get the 4 because the processes or is faster for Skype and online shopping

For all these purposes Kindle Fire HD is enough... You really dont need a to spend a lot more money on iPad for this stuff.

Not sure about the Surface tablet because it uses Microsoft which has a comparatively lower, lower app selection, the price and the reviews are not satisfactory...
