I can see emojis on twitter with my galaxy s3 but how do I type them?!?

I have a galaxy s3 and when I go on my twitter I can see emojis that iPhone users use but in the android robot faces and in black and white. If I can see them, how would I be able to type them in using my keyboard?! It's the android version of emojis but I can't seem to figure out how to put them! Ugh.

If anyone knows, it'd be greaaaat if you could tell me

I use it on the ipad.don't know if it will work in android.go to the settings,keboard settings,keyboards and then add new keyboard.it may help
