Saving images on Twitter for Android?

Hello
I've been using Twitter on my Samsung Galaxy Y (powered by Android Gingerbread) for around four months. I've noticed that I am unable to save images tweeted by people. I've tried tapping/double tapping/holding the screen, and pressing the menu button.
I used to be able to save them by pressing the menu button and being given two options; to go to the home screen or to save the image. However, now the only option given when pressing the menu button on my phone is to go to the home screen.
I know you're able to save Twitter images using an iPhone or iPad, but for some reason I'm unable to whilst using an Android phone.
Does anybody have a solution to this problem, or is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Hello ! Wait for the next update ! They will fix it.
In the meantime you can screenshot those if they are really important.

For screenshot,
Install > Screenshot it (for rooted phone)
> No root screenshot it (for unrooted phone)
