Does it annoy you being copied?

I am kind of a youtube wizard. I am good at and find it exciting discovering new artists on there, I kinda like having the originality of liking someone nobody else does..

So yeah, I recently discovered daughter, I'm not sure if you've heard of her or not but where I live nobody has. I listened to her once on spotify and now about 20 of my friends/acquaintances have her in their "favourites" albums.

There's this girl in my class as well, she copies all the music I like, she follows me on twitter and tries to talk to me, tweets in the same style as me, does her hair in the way I used to.


They're not even my friends, they just copy me and now it looks like I'm just following a trend -_-

sorry for the caps, but I totally get you. I like being an individual, and when someone copies me, I feel like someone is pulling away at my identity and originiality. i've had two people who copy the way I talk and the things I say...and it annoys me so much, that I get mad and them and tell them to stop. like seriously, people should learn to be themselves, not imitate others. why would you wanna be an imitation??

Damn, that sounds annoying :/ Yeah, I know what its like to like someone on youtube then all your friends find out and start liking him/her too... Happened me when I found Christina Grimmie. Now slowly, people are starting to like her too.... So I feel your pain dude! xD And that creepy stalker girl... holy crap. Its alright to try and talk to you and be friends with you, but she does her hair like you and tweets in the same style as you!?! dafuq? O_O She sounds creepy xD Maybe you should talk to her, tell her nicely that she's... annoying you. As for the main issue? Well, unfortunately there's nothing you can do Just try somehow to let everyone know on Spotify/Twitter/Facebook that YOU FOUND HER FIRSTTTTT!!! Anyways, to answer your question, yes it really annoys me -_-' I feel your pain. If you want to check out some not so well known musicians on Youtube... Try Gavin Mikhail, Michael Henry and Justin Robinett, Eli Lieb and Wellington (they're a band). Good luck my friend
