A libertarian is (more or less) someone who wants the government out of people's lives as much as possible.
The opposite of that (more or less) would be a statist.

No, A Democrat is not necessarily liberal on both social issues and economic issues. No, a Republican in not necessarily conservative on both social issues and economic issues. It is not that black and white. Most people, regardless of political party affiliation, have some liberal and some conservative views. The two major political parties are not opposites. That is a very simplistic view of politics.

Yes, Liberatarians tend to be more liberal on social views and more conseratives on economic issues...just like most people. There is no opposite of Liberatarian either.

I don't know , but I do know real libertarians are getting sick of loony republicans pretending to be libertarian, just because they know that no one is taking these wacko right wingers serious no more.
