What is a good way to show off my Youtube videos?

I am planning on becoming a Minecraft Commentator and have already made my channel. I also plan to soon upload my first video explaining what I am going to do in my channel. But when i do upload the video, how will people know to see it? No subscribers obviously yet since i just made the channel and the video hasn't been yet released. When it does i need to spread the word about it, other ways?

Make sure you tag your video properly with as many relevant keywords as possible. This is how videos are found on Youtube. I would recommend advertising your videos through Facebook and Twitter. If you want some decent views I would recommend releasing a few videos on new Minecraft creations like how to install mods, and mod reviews. Go to planetminecraft.com or minecraft related sites and search for some new mods or on planetminecraft.com use the "Whats Hot" section. Record a video on how to install the mod, and then demonstrate it.

I know you might have other plans for your channel, which is great, but to get started with subscribers and views this is what I recommend. I have over 300 subs and I gained them by using this method

It will be a LOT of hard work.
You need to have a regular amount of uploads, you need to tag them well, and obviously your videos need to be good. People will find you themselves.

Another thing which will give you a sudden boost is that if someone who is popular on youtube will favorite one of your videos. Overnight you will get a load of views and even subs. Do you know someone who is like that? maybe ask them for a favour?

Many others are doing minecraft videos, so don't expect it to be easy.

My suggestion is do videos that no one else is doing; that way your audience will find you fast.

For example, I noticed no one was doing math videos in my native language, so I started uploading those.
