How to plan an awful dorm situation around studying, healthy eating, and exercise?
Is it possible to have all these things with a little social life? Let's see--I don't watch TV or mess around with my phone--that saves a lot of time. I try to avoid endless emails and long phone conversations.

Some things I have thought of are:

Have a tray to put all my keys/wallet/phone/cologne etc...
Use specialized furniture to organize what's important to me
Cut down on how much time I deal with shopping/driving by ordering from Amazon/online
Pay for someone to do my laundry once every two weeks.
Only use farmer's markets which are nearby and restaurant delivery.
Record my notes after class and catalog/playlist them
Draw graphs of my notes and digitize them
When studying for an exam--total immersion for at least three days prior.

Anything else you are welcome to add.
Well... I have my own room, but share a bathroom with one other person. It may seem like I have it easy, but the design/appliances are from the early 1980's. Also, parking is horrendous so I tend to avoid driving unless I absolutely have to.

Do your own laundry and study then. You'd be surprised how much a change of scenery helps you study.

In your dorm situation you forgot your roommate and the people who live in the same hall. How late do they all stay up at night, doing what? Where do you propose three days' immersion prior to exams? In your college town, you will have a laundry and dry cleaning store.
