Please read........I hate this time period that we're in!!!?
I wish I could live in the 80's, 90's, and early 2000's like '01 and '02. But come on, we're in 2012, years 2007 and up were the worst. I can't relate to this generation at ALL, this freakin technology has gotten out of hand, everything is Facebook twitter instagram and a whole bunch of other crap. Tv shows SUCK now and especially MUSIC!!!!! My god, have you just listened to the music now, it's horrible, except Katy perry I love her, and eminem. And the worst thing is I haven't been living to long in this world long enough, only 16 years. My mom told me while growing up, she had a fun life, everybody wasn't into technology like how they're are now. You have talking machines, and touch screens, it's just ridiculous. Just imagine how it's gonna be like when we get further on in the 2000's, I hate the 21st century, 20th century is the best to me. So what are your views on this post, what generation do you like best!!!!!
Should I just learn to accept the time was born in and the generation I'm growing up in, or for the rest of my life should I complain about it. Every day I wake up asking god why couldn't I be born earlier. Also do you think this generation is that bad?

There is nothing you can do. Why hate something that you can't change? Learn to accept it. You'll be a lot happier with life.

You're so right.. I grew up in the 80s 90s and early 2000's obviously.. I have seen the rapid change and internet explosion lead to selfishness and antisocialism. I dislike this time period as well. Nothing is certain, and loyalty is at an all time low. Hang in there, you're not the only one.

I feel sorry for your generation. I agree with almost all that you said. However as the old people do all we can do is remember and reminise and take the best out of it to learn from and enjoy. And thank goodness for Katy

Are you kidding me?! This is the best damn century. And I'm guessing you loved the 20th century because the roaring 20's or or maybe just maybe you loved the time when millions of Jews were killed. Or when Americans were getting captured and tortured by Vietnamese. Or when Americans everywhere lost jobs and during the great deppression. Or or maybe lol when people had to watch a tv in black and white. Or lol when hospitals didn't have the technology to save lives we do now lol.
Listen kid don't let your mom get to you. About the music, just cuz one one apple in the apple tree is bad doesn't mean the entire tree is bad, just gotta look. Word of advice, don't listen to the radio that play the sam songs every hour lol. Tv shows are great now with the tech these days. HD! Just got to look. You wouldn't even be on here if you were born 40yrs ago, and still there are old people that use the web. I agree with fb though but Twitter is good. Twitter changes notifications to another level.
Don't look at the imperfections of the world, you are only wasting your time you have on this beautiful place. Enjoy the time you have, there is no such thing as a time machine so love the time you in right now because you don't get two.

I'm Generation X (aka a "90's kid"), born in 1992 and those days will always be for me, THE DAY. Nothing can ever come close. But almost everybody feels their generation was "the best". You ask a 60 yr old which decade was the best, they'd say the one they were old enough to drink alcohol in.

I'd say these are the best days to be alive: there's some much technology and so many life changing, and life-saving inventions. So many opportunities for EVERYONE to become successful and wealthy. So many ways to enhance your beauty, your health and your lifespan. Things that were almost impossible to do by yourself or would otherwise take enormous amounts of energy and manpower, not to mention MONEY, like making a hit song or a movie, can be done near instantly by yourself with little effort. However they're also the worst of times to the sheer amount of mediocrity and over-reliance on technology that you mentioned. Not to mention overpopulation, crime, disease and famine, and the corruption of world governments. To me the 90's were the best because really, we had a balance of both worlds. Were it not for the Vietnam War and racism, the 60's probably would have been the best decade in American history.

I couldn't agree more. It sucks and is boring as hell. When machines do all our work what the hell are people supposed to do?
