How to get mobile notifications from certain users on twitter?

How do you put certain twitter users on mobile notifications so that as soon as they tweet it will let you know? I have an iPhone 4 so what do I need to do?

Right next to the create a tweet icon is your display picture, @ username, and a little arrow. Click the arrow and select "Settings" from the drop down menu. Next click the mobile tab, there you can sign up for twitter text messages to be sent to your phone and you can select certain users tweets to be sent to your phone.

Another option is an app call "peep" you can enable it to give you notifications as well, I've also heard that "Tweet deck" works well too, but I've never used it so I don't know.
