You might think this question is dumb, and that I lack common sense. Well, maybe i do ^^. But seriously what happens, to our e-mail, twitters facebooks, etc. Willit say something like deceased, or will it go on, and seem wierd.

Eventually our accounts will be deleted unceremoniously for inactivity. Not with a bang, but a whimper.

Looks like your Facebook and Twitter stay online, and your Myspace...who knows. Email probably stays up for at least 6 months as well, depending on your provider. Check the link.

If your friends or family notify Facebook, your page will be turned into a memorial page.
Most e-mail accounts will stick around unless someone closes them. Some other accounts (blogs and stuff) would be deleted after a period of inactivity.

I keep a list of my log-in information and passwords in a secret place. If I pass away unexpectedly, my husband or other family members could notify my online friends and take control over accounts I have.
