I'm considering starting to watch baseball, but I find cricket boring...?

This year I discovered the excitement of hockey and basketball, and following fans of these sports on Twitter, I can't help but get tweets about baseball. I've never watched baseball in my life. I am keen to give it a try but I find cricket really boring.

Does this mean I'd probably find baseball just as boring?
