Does the facebook and twitter app cost on iphone?

i have bought an iphone today and i have downloaded the facebook and twitter app, if i go on facebook will it cost? i am on a pay monthly contract and i have home bt wifi. If i go on facebook now will it use up my data or will it use the home wifi thingg? please help thanks.

It does not use the Data up but the Wi-Fi I hope this helped!

If you are connected to your home WIFI you do not use your cellular data

Home wi-Fi but be sure to turn of ur cellular data go to settings -general-cellular-off then you will be sure to use your wifi that only turns of your data and when u want to use it turn back on

U have to switch the wifi on and wait for the wifi symbol to appear. It looks like a little cone shaped thing on the top left. To switch wifi on go to settings and then wifi.
