What message is this girl trying to send?

Her friends and her organized a group of people with dates for the winter dance. They chose me as her date. I don't know her real well but at one party she seemed fairly interested In me. However when I try to start a conversation on facebook or Twitter without just saying hi let's talk she ignores me... Even when I pass her in the halls she doesn't wave hi or things like flirty girls do. What does this all mean?

She's playing hard to get. She's trying to catch your attention to get you more interested. The more she ignores you, the more interested and curious you will get. You'll start wondering about her more. It'll make her seem all mysterious. However, even though this does catch attention it's stupid to me. She probably likes you a lot. If you like her too, I would suggest talking to her in person. Its never going to go anywhere if all she does is try to catch your attention.
