Why wont the apps on my surface install?

I just got a new windows surface. I was so excited to use the ultimate laptop/tablet device, but unfortunately when I tried to download apps they would just sit pending. But the wackiest thing is I updated the device and it started to install a few apps. Although there are still about twenty apps that have not installed they simply continue to say pending. I have maintained internet access the whole time so that's not it.
I tried refreshing the device but instead of simply erasing all of my data and starting fresh it says
"Could not find the files needed
If you have a windows Installation media, Insert it and restart the pc from the media" Of course the surface comes with no such media.
Here is a list of the apps that installed : pinball fx, draw my stickman, facebook touch, jetpack joyride, backgrounds wallpapers hd, radiant, radiant defense.

Hi，You can first reset your PC and then installation Google market, you can download the software and apps.
