Why does his daughter disrespect me?

Ive been dating a guy for 8 months and he has three kids. His oldest daughter is going to be 20 and im around the same, she always talk about on twitter and Facebook and feels she doesn't have to respect me because im around the same age... She also thinks her dad treats me better and feels she can controls the house. Even "though she was okay with me i the beginning, she has been nothing but rude to me and all um doing is making her dad happy and supporting him and brother and sister.....whats her problem?
