What is with all the scam companies on job boards?

This is more of a rant than a question but feel free to respond passionately on this topic.

I graduated Syracuse University in the spring with a BS in Finance and I can't seem to find any respectable company who is hiring. I have gone to several Marketing/ Sales interviews with companies that turned out to be complete pyramid scams...Seriously WTF, are there any honest companies hiring in entry level positions anymore?

Try job fairs, your school placement office,newspaper classifieds, corporate websites, contact other graduates from your university through linkedin and facebook if there's a group. Unfortunately it seems the majority of postings on job boards are scams
