How can I publish a story I wrote?

I love to write stories but how do I find out if they are good enough ?
How can i get one published?

GO to the book store and get a copy of Writer's Digest.
Start picking up each edition as they will have all sorts of information you need
on getting an agent, self publishing, etc. etc.

Writing is easy compared to getting your work published.

If you are looking for a quick way to publish, you can post it on forums that relate to the subject matter.

You can also use Jutoh to create a eBook and sell it on your blog or through Amazon.com and Smashwords. Gutenberg is another option. They have free eBooks you can download.

If you want to make money from it though - Amazon and Smashwords are the best. Or you have to begin the process of submitting it to magazines, newspapers, and online digests like the previous post said about getting Writer's Digest. It does have good info. But I have found eBooks to be a good source of income for friends of mine who write.

Also, you should begin building a social media network through Twitter, Blogging, Facebook, Forums, etc. This will help with promoting the books you write.
