it kind sounds like mens wear...

well it looks like you are in a good start!

1.) you can put flyers at other stores or malls...

2.) Again, it sounds like if its for men. Besides that.... it sounds like... dark colors...maybe some light colors like on ur website (which is a nice pic btw) =) i think it can work though, there are other stores with weird names lol. but this one sounds nice and not weird- just different.

3.) You need to take fashion classes. take some that are about the fashion business and industry...
and a lot of $ lol- if you already don't...

I like your concept and the originality of the name.

1) Marketing: are you selling t-shirts with phrases that will get noticed and have the potential to spread if people are seen wearing them? If so you may setup a little contest on your favorite social network (like Facebook) and give a few away to anyone willing to give you a testimonial or provide feedback on the product.

There is no shame in getting friends and family to be your first customers. Let everyone know what your doing and tell them how they can support your business start-up. Focus on getting testimonials and feedback you can provide on your website to help others feel more comfortable purchasing from you. Add some social sharing buttons to your website and ask your friends to visit the page and "Like" it (for Facebook) or give it a +1 (for Google+) or tweet the page out to their followers on Twitter. This will help others see you have a legitimate presence and feel more comfortable buying from you.

2) I think gravity is an interesting choice for a name to base your clothing line name on. There are a lot of ways you can use that and the concept with the A and V transposition is creative.

3) If you are serious about your business you need to put together a business plan. This will help you clarify your goals, evaluate your competition and allow you to see what realistically you need to do to make the business a success.

You can also use the business plan to attract investors to your business or at the very least show your family that you are serious enough about the endeavor to put a plan together (which will help you with point #1). I will link below a site where you can find a free business plan template to use to create a business plan for your start-up.

Kudos to you for taking initiative to start something new.
