Tell me the Instagram basics!! lots of points!!!?

Hi so I am a teenage girl and just got an iPhone. Lots of my friends have instagram and I plan to set it up too. However I'm really not sure of the basics, I know how to use it but I don't know the etiquette and expectations of my friends etc, plus I don't want to look like a loser! So here are my questions: ( by the way in all circumstances i'm asking about people who only get followed by their friends&family, not the ones who have loads of followers, if you know what I mean? )

1) how many photos do people usually upload a day/a week?
2) are photos without people in boring? (for a teenager. I don't often take photos with other people but I don't want to look like a loser)
3) how do I find my friends on it? How do I find celebrities on it?
4) will I look stupid if I only have like 5 photos? will my friends stop following me?
5) how do I share a photo from instagram to facebook?
6) do you just make up your own hashtags? ( i dont have twitter)
7) can I have an account and just follow people but not upload (until I have something interesting to upload)
8) is there anything else you think I should know/do?

1- no more than 4 pics a day. I usually do 1-2 a day.
2-don't have too many pics if just stuff. The more people the better. Not too many selfies either.
3- once u find one friend on it look at who they r following and u will find a bunch of other people u know. As for celebrities look up on google "(celebrities name) instagram username.
4- friends prob won't stop following but 5 Photos look like. Try to post something everyday.
5- go into settings and scroll down and Ull see something about hooking it up to FB
6- u Can make up ur own hashtags but if their too crazy they won't be seen. Look up top 100 hashtags on IG on google to get good hashtags
7- u may look like a stalker to ur friends. Like ur just using it to look at pics.
8-not to many selfies

I've had Instagram for ages and I use it every day!
1.) every one uploads different amounts of pics! Personally I don't keep count! I post when I find something interesting!

2.) not all photos with ought people are boring! You could have a mix.

3.) you can search there names on there and if you search a celeb you can check out there pics and see if there legit!

4.) no it won't, although it won't be the best but no one will unfollow! That's how you start anyway! You have to gradually climb up the popularity ladder till u reach the popular page! No one can just start out with like 1000 likes!!

5.) when you want to share a photo and you come to the stage where you write a comment on you're on photo, you can scroll down and share it on fb, twitter...ect.

6.) you can or you can download (from the App Store for free) tagsforlikes. It will give you a lot of popular tags and you can copy and paste them immediately!

7.) yes you can but people will probably not follow you because you have nothing interesting to show!

8.) ummm.... Not really!
