How do you get too know a guy ?

I pretty much already know the basics of how too flirt and everything . But everytime there's a guy I feel like I'm just "another girl" and the guy I talk too ends up liking someone better thann me . So I'm just useless too the guy whenever someone else comes along . I just want a relationship were I start doing stuff after me and the guy get too know each other down the road and have been dating for like a month. Also I'm very picky w/ my guys . I only pick the guys that make me happy . I don't just date any guy . They have too be special . But every guy I feel that way with ends up liking someone else . So pretty much they pull the "friend card" on me . And I don't understand . And I know I don't look bad cause im told every day I'm stunning, beautiful, gorgeous etc . Any help ? I just need someone I cann have a relationship w/ I wanna be happy w/ someone . Because beinng independent is good and I think I've had a fair time of that and It's time for me to be in a relationship but It's so difficult too have a relationship . First off, ive had my fair share of relationships that didnt work out, who hasnt. All the girls I dated never really "got to know me" I would say. Like they "knew" me, but we never really agreed on much and most of them didnt even like the same things I was into. A guy is gonna want a girl who they can do stuff they like to do with. You should try and find someone who has similar interests and isnt just in it for the poon tang, if you know what I mean. And I cant help but feel like youre sort of just wanting a relationship in order to be in a relationship. You will meet somoene eventually and youll just know. Me, im still waiitng.
