How long does a crush last?

First time I noticed his exsistance was in class (there is over 60 of us). We were told to mix up with other subject classes. He came and sat next to me as that was the only space left. (He came 5 mins after one of his classmate joined us.) I forgot how to breathe as he introduced himself to everyone, we didn't make eye contact or anything like that only when I spoke which was rare in this occasion normally I can't stfu!!!

(I know it's a one-sided crush and my friend knows him and she told me he is very popular with the everyone especially the girls. Well duh! ... But then she said... he's single (that's the annoying part he's single!) cause if he had a gf I could snap out off it already!!! Eeergh! Fml.

Anyway... we all had to discuss about ourselves and as he spoke... I was lost in his eyes but I still can recite every word!! (I think im crushing on him because I like his goals in life as it actually is what I had on my list and because of his accent, and of course he's fine as hell! = the perfect package!)

Now it's weird because every time we bump into eachother: lunch, the hallway, class we don't know where to look it's funny coz I feel awkward and I can tell he does too.
To add to my awkward life from my friend's perspective she told me his best mate always stares at me when im not looking every lesson!!! It's crazy why couldn't he be my crush???!!!!


Now its the holidays im thinking about my crush every waking moment after I found him on fb & twitter (I know stalker) right?!! now I read his status's I feel like I know him more! I can't stop myself from searching his damn name on the search engine!

I just don't want to feel like this anymore... Help?!

I know the feeling. There was this one guy who came to our school in the middle of sixth grade. I instantly fell head over heels. After he settled in and found his place, I realized he was just a player. He dated a lot of girls then just dumped them. But I still couldn't get over this crush. I couldn't figure it out. I was so confused. I think it was my first REAL crush. But around the end of 7th grade, I realized that I just somehow.. got over it. Try occupying your mind with other guys. Or if you're not looking for guy troubles right now, just focus on your friends. If none of this helps, maybe you should start talking to this guy. See if you have a chance Best of luck!
