when you want to tweet or mention someone specific use @<friend's username> <here goes your message to the person> for example: @abc hey! what's up!

or use dm (direct message) for more privacy. You could also retweet tweets of people you follow. personally I like twitter to tweet random things-_- haha

Hi,

Twitter is a great tool to communicate and network with. Use @ and the profile name when you want to send a message to someone like ( @ProfileName How are you? ). You can also hit the reply button and write a message.

Don't spam people or they will be put off by you and never converse with you again.

You can download my complimentary e book on twitter and become a rock star among your friends and followers.

Hope that helps. Let me know if I can help further.

Think of Twitter as a bunch of Text messages showing up on your TimeLine (AKA: feed)...when someone you follow Tweets, it shows up on your Timeline to read, RT (Re-Tweet) or Reply.

A great tool to manage and keep an eye on your Tweets, those who Mention you in their Tweets and DM (Direct Messages) - download TweetDeck (it's a free download at TweetDeck.com)

Watch Tweeting for a few days and then hop right in. I have been an avid Tweeter for over 2 years. I have gained some great friendships and made some amazing business contacts.

All in 140 characters or less!
