How make my twitter private?

On you Twitter Account page:

1. Click on the Gear icon (top right corner next to the blue "Compose New Tweet" icon).
2. Select "Settings" from the drop menu.
3. Your Account Settings will appear - uncheck Tweet location / Add a location to my Tweets and check the Tweet Privacy & Tweet privacy / Protect my Tweets checkboxes. This will set your account so that only those who you approve will see your Tweets, and your Tweets won't be seen by the public (except for ones already showing on your account.
