why does it take so long to tweet something?

Title says it. I have fast internet but when i tweet something with a picture it takes like 3 minutes after me typing it for it to tweet out. Sometimes i just get an error "tweeting a photo timed out" and it doesn't even tweet. i can facebook something fine, its just twitter.

Try clearing the internet history, cache, and cookies on your computer. That might help. Or the internet is probably just high with it being Christmas break and kids not having school to tweet their friends.
