My first suggestion is to google "Organic SEO", these sites will give you ways to increase your keyword relevance so that your ranking is higher in google searches. Some tips include:

- Add the words to your site more often
- Make sure your keywords are in your meta title, meta description and meta keywords
- Make sure your keywords are in your headings <h1> would be the html code

Non-keyword tactics:
- Participate in forums
- Post press releases online (there are many free sites)

These will increase your "Google Ranking" as more sites are linking back to yours!

I use a search engine optimisation tool Web CEO, which analyses your site and offers tips to improve its ranking in search engines.

One of the most effective ways I have found, is to broaden your directory structure, and give them meaning full names, also the same with images and internal links.

I did this to the web site http://www.skichamp.co.uk and it is now highly ranked in all the major search engines. Try search for 'ski studio france' , and hopefully it should appear in the top 5 in google, bing and yahoo.

However, just because your site is highly ranked, does not mean it will generate more visitors.

You can use Web CEO to find out which are the most popular search terms and tune your site accordingly.

ps. there are less than 10 searches a month for 'website desgin liverpool'

Article marketing is an excellent way to generate traffic to any websites. Write simple articles related to your business and submit it in article directories such as ezinearticles.com, and isnare.com.The links from there are going to be there forever. Then convert these articles into videos, which could be submitted to video sharing sites viz- Youtube, blip.tv, vimeo. A great source where you can convert your articles into videos is http://bit.ly/bHELiF. Your site could skyrocket in google rankings. A bit of caution though, these articles should be submitted on a regular basis ie. once a week or once a fortnight, or if possible once a day, but try to avoid doing an article today , then the next one after 2 weeks, the following one after 2 months etc.

I think the good way is too use some good sources for getting high traffic. You can use some good sites in all SEO methods like for link directory you can use mastermoz.com and http://www.ablsearch.com/directory/
for article submissions you can use - article dashboard and ezine.
For QA sites you can use yahoo answers, face book and Twitter.

All these are good sites and you will get good traffic by using it.
