How to publicise/market my indie song/album?

I've done research and there are companies that will market, get reviews, publicise and more your indie song/album, but they''re so expensive

what is the most efficent way to do this myself without all the costs that come's along with it?
(music blogs, online magazines, podcasts, social media, online newspapers, ect ect ect)

lastly, what is a good website that would be a relible source to receive this info and more to help guide me along the way?

If your musics good, try the pirate bay promos. Apply to them. They get some pretty weird stuff. Maybe 1 out of every ten people accessing your media will pay for it. And that's more money than you were making, right?
