How do I get LOADS more followers on Twitter?

I only have 4 followers on Twitter and its really hard to get some!
I've heard you need to at least Tweet 2 times per da, to maximise your account, but there's nothing to Tweet about!
And I've also heard you should Tweet about your Hobbies and stuff.
I'm not famous or anything so - Again - its really hard to get followers...

Any ideas of how I could get some?
I'd be really grateful!

If you want to be a total creeper, you could follow tons of people in hopes they will follow you back. Follow your friends... That should get you a hand full of followers.

You don't need to tweet twice a day. You could tweet 50 times per min and it won't matter.. Just tell your friends to follow you .

My advice would be for you to remain patient and, more importantly. - stay true to yourself. Just tweet your own thoughts/opinions on things you encounter during your day :-) That way when you get more followers (and you WILL) , you will have the satisfaction knowing that it is YOU they are following and not some person, tweeting rubbish, trying desperatly to impress people (which usually has the opposite effect).
