What do these <> mean on facebook and twitter.?
Like people put a list of things or two things then these arrows. Example:
Justin Bieber > One direction
or Demi Lovato > Michelle Keegan
or Eastenders > Coronation street
Like, what do they mean?
Thank you. Also what does this mean:
The Wanted >>>>>> 😍

You know in maths where they'd say like, 0<5 means 0 is smaller than 5
so on twitter/fb they mean the same, for example

Justin Bieber > One direction

means

Justin is better than One D

Think of the arrow as a mouth, eating the bigger or greater thing. In the example you posted, te first person is sayin that Justin Beiber is better than One Direction.

> Is more than
< Is less than

So for example; Justin Bieber > One direction
would mean you prefer Justin Bieber

these signs are used in maths so it's as though instead of saying 1>0 (one is greater than 0) it's as though Justin is better than One Direction Smile like my life is > than yours is the same as my life is better than yours! x
and the wanted >>>>>> means the wanted are amazing!
