What tablet should i get?

I don't know whether I should get a Microsoft Surface or a nexus 10.
I would be using them to do work on (which makes the surface better) but would also be watching videos and playing games. I already have a nexus 4 and 7 so I have already invested in android, but I own an Xbox so am involved with microsofts ecosystem. The surface would be better for work as it comes with office and has a keyboard and full sized USB port. But the nexus has more apps availible and a better screen. The other advantage of the surface is the build quality and support as it is made from magnesium not plastic and will be updated for 4 years officially whereas the nexus will get maybe 2 years/3 years. The nexus is over £150 cheaper than the surface with a keyboard.
Also do you think the surface price will drop to £400 with the keyboard in the next six months?
PS by work I mean homework as I still go to school.

I feel the best choice is the Microsoft surface. You could just use Google chrome to download all of the Android apps. For homework usage it is way better. But with the depreciation, the price will probably drop.

I would say go for the Nexus 10. It has the android store, you can use what is on your other devices on the nexus 10. The Play Store has so many more apps and stuff. For the price, i think the Nexus 10 is really what i would go for.

Here's an idea...you can watch the reviews on CNET (http://www.cnet.com). They will be putting up reviews for each device. But i got to say, they are both really good devices and i don't think you can go wrong with any device!!

colors look clear and sharp on it
the tablet build quality is amazing
it feels perfect and its made from solid materials
the os on the tablet which is windows 8 is also amazing

and it supports flash which is a huge plus and which is something that is lacking on most android tablets and all ios tablets
battery life is very good and would easily get you through more than 10 hours of heavy use
you can download apps from the windows marketplace which has many high quality apps

more than 2000apps were added in less than 2 days
it does have more than 25000 apps now and like I said it will keep on increasing
it has dual cameras and both of them take amazing photos and videos
it has deep social network integration(skype,facebook,twitter,linke… and so on)
you also get Microsoft office 2013 for free on it
and if you get the keyboard and attach it to it you'll have a laptop
overall the surface is an amazing tablet and you should get it
