What should i do with this relationship? End it or continue it?
I am currently in high school, and i have a girlfriend whom i have been dating for 7 months. Everything went smoothly and we regularly went on dates. Unfortunately her mom is a bit obsessive about her daughter's life to the point wherein she controls every single message she sends to anyone and places her on time limits, for example getting off her computer at a certain time. Once i was joking around and using some derogatory language on a facebook chat, but it was purely for laughter, however her mom took it too seriously and therefore prevented us from going out on dates ever again, and/or texting and any other form of communication. She accessed my girlfriend's account and blocked me on facebook, skype, twitter and what not. Therefore the only time i can actually see and speak to my girlfriend is at school. My parents tried talking to her mom but no luck at all. My question is we are now close to christmas, which means i will not see her and talk to her for 2 weeks? Eventually the summer will come, and i will not talk to her for 2 months? This is getting insanely ridiculous. I am wondering, should i continue this relationship or end it right now? Thanks for your advice.

Some parents are overly possessive, perhaps you should confront her mom and tell her that you we're only joking and that you're actually a good guy who would like to date her daughter, if she continues to say no and won't give you a chance to prove yourself, you should stop pursuing the relationship.

I'm sorry I feel for you. There is nothing more painful than an over protective mother of her daughter however, understandable. Just work your way around. :-)

It would be pitty to end a relationship for this. Resprct her wishes but keep on dating who knows with your patience, she may change.
