What tablet is a good and reliable one to purchase for a good price?

I'm not to familiar with what they can do but I at least want one that is micro SD compatible and is capable of doing video chat on Skype and msn. Also that I can go on Facebook and eBay with it.

What should I be looking for when it comes to purchasing a suitable tablet?

Depends on how you define a good price.

For example for around $500 you can get the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, which is quad core Android 4.0 tablet, which has great battery life and an optional keyboard dock if you want to type a lot on it.

Or if your looking for around $200, there is the kindle fire, which may not be as powerful, and will still accomplish most of what your looking for.

And with either of these options you can also get any app within the Android market also. (on the kindle fire you have to use the amazon marketplace)
