Trying to market a product and the offer to eblast to an "opt-in" email list of 2 million people is intriguing. However, sounds to good to be true.

I do have experience and it is a bit of a risky business.
There are companies that have lists that are specifically targeted to geographic areas and lists specifically targeted to specific PROFILES..
You might want to look at the most sophisticated targeting on the planet afforded by none other than Facebook!
Yes, they can target blonde women between the ages of 20 and 23, who like tennis and horses who play golf once per year!

So, in the end the quality of TARGETING is what you might want to consider looking at.

Have you considered using cell phones to target folks? Did you know folks spend more time surfing on their iPhones than on their laptops!
