I Shared A Marketing Secret With a Biz Competitor - Should I Feel Threatened?

I am an independent rep for a business with others and I shared that I placed an ad with a national paper in our Facebook group. Well someone inboxed me and asked me what paper I used and I told him, but then told him not to tell ANYONE, as it would flood the newspaper and make everyone's efforts less effective.

Now I am wondering if that was a devastatingly dumb move that will ultimately take $ away from me in the long run. Should I be worried? Or is there enough pie for everyone? And yes, it is a mistake I won't make again. I am mainly tying to build a marketing list which I will use to push different opportunities which I find to be legit.

Yes, you can feel worried but not threatened. But, try to let the waves flow for there is nothing you can do about it now. You are working in the business world and... well... business is business!
