My internet connection is bad, please help?

I live in mainland China , so many American websites are blocked like twitter, facebook and youtube. But for the past few years almost all websites that are not in Chinese or made by Chinese people have loaded very slowly or are blocked, even yahoo answers sometimes. Now, I can't load a lot of websites, I think the government blocked them. My moms says it is because I am using a wireless connection and I should figure a way to fix it, what do you think? Can you help me make my internet connection fast and not blocked? In America, the internet was never slow or blocked for me, wireless included. I don't want to pay money but I am open to all suggestions. Thankyou guys!
