Why is my android so slow, Please help me?
So I have the Samsung Illusion [Straight Talk] for about three months, about three days ago my android downloading became EXTREMELY SLOW to the point of not downloading or takes about a good 15-30 minutes to download anything. I factory data restart it this morning and its still downloading everything really slow. I also tried booster apps and clean everything on it. Nothing works. Is there anything else I can do or just resend my phone and get a new one?
I have no messages and currently no downloaded apps on my phone expect the one it already comes with.

I am in the UK, so I am not familiar with how US networks operate. What I can suggest is that maybe you have a data allowance with Straight Talk, and you have reached your limit. Reaching your limit sometimes results in data being stopped, whereby you can't do anything at all. Sometimes, you can exceed your limit, and be charged extra on your bill for the excess. However, some networks allow you to exceed your limit, but slow down your data, resulting in the slowness you are experiencing. This means that downloading will work, and general internet use will work, such as using Facebook, Twitter, etc; but all these data services will run slowly due to being traffic managed by your network. There may also be traffic managing being operated, due to your local transmitter being very busy, and getting overloaded. Straight Talk can advise you if there is any traffic management on your account, or in your neighbourhood.

Sounds like you used up too much date recently and they throttled you. Sorry.

Try going to settings --> Applications --> Running Services --> Click on the unuseful stuff (most of it or all of it) and push stop
