So, everyone wasn't seeing that $63 fee that will "expire" after 3 years. These kind of things never expire.

So, a 3.8% "unearned income Medicare tax is coming for the 200k and 250k club too regardless what goes on with the Bush extensions. Its part of Obamacare.

One problem with the unearned income Medicare contribution tax is the name Congress chose for it, which is a triple misnomer. The income that will be subject to the tax isn’t unearned — it is earned by savers who receive market rewards for delaying consumption and providing funds to finance business investment.

Also, because the proceeds will be paid into the general treasury, the tax will have no financial link to Medicare. And, of course, the tax will be a compulsory payment, not a voluntary contribution.

Its always some filthy lie out of these clowns.

@Spock: Can't argue with that.

"It will bend the cost curve"
"You will be able to keep your plan"
"It will cost under $1T"

all lies.
@momma: You can rationalize any lie and deception any misrepresentation by pushing that button on your keyboard programmed by Obama:

"The evil rich people can pay"

the way an authoritarian government controls the people is by lying to them.

Hitler did it. Stalin did it. Mao did it. Why should Obama be different?

Yes, those poor people who make $250,000 a year will have to pay 3.8% on their dividends and capital gains. Tell me, how much do you think they'll suffer because of it? Meanwhile, those who depend on it to live make far less than $250,000 and won't even be touched. Poor, poor suffering people with enough money to not even notice it.

This is on all income even if just a one time fine. Inheritance, Lottery, Home Sale, Capital Gains any thing across the board. Upper, Middle & Lower Classes are "All" going to pay it or have it extracted by the enhanced more aggressive I.R.S. . Sorry but the damage is yet to be realized. Does any body think Obama or any supporter would have been elected with the Truth. Their entire existence is based on the majority of the public not knowing enough accurate information. The majority of the public will just accept what their employer or Social worker tells them.

Actually the facts with the reforms are simple. And no reform will cost America more than the Affordable Healthcare Act.

I am always amazed how many Americans seem not to be aware about the real healthcare issues relying instead on FOX and other sources to spread lies about the healthcare system of the USA and those abroad. I mean, if healthcare in nations with universal coverage is so bad, why do they keep it?
Obama wants to make insurance more available to all and change the system so that it gives the American people value for money [1]. He also wants change so that the insurance companies find it harder to get out of paying for treatment. The system he is proposing looks similar to that which works in Taiwan where private companies are involved in providing healthcare [2].
Obama campaigned on reforming the healthcare system. He said he wanted to make insurance more available and he was elected twice to do this [3].
FACT - the US has higher death rates for kids both for kids aged under one and those under five than western European countries with universal health coverage [4].
FACT – American insurance companies pushed up prices and worked to stop paying out claims on those they covered before the reforms came in [5].
FACT - the USA spends more on healthcare PER PERSON than any other nation on the planet [6].
That means that a dead American four year old would have had a better chance of life if they were born in any western nation with universal health coverage.
If you disagree with the facts, please let me know. I am always willing to learn, but please provide proof. None of those who disagree with me have been able to do that so far.
