Too much social media??? Are you as annoyed as me?
We get it, sharing things on the Internet is cheap. But isn't really annoying when you go to other websites and along the bottom are 12,000 different websites to "like" something too?

You can "FB Like" it, you can "+1" it (whatever that means), you can "tweet" it, you can "flattr" it. It's really annoying how invasive social media is becoming, most sites won't let you post on their message boards without first logging into facebook or twitter, which has nothing to do with the website you're trying to comment on.

It's disgusting how mainstream the Internet is now, well, it's more disgusting the direction the mainstream has taken it. Every website wants to be facebook, even good ole AIM wants to be facebook, you can't have a buddy profile... you have to have "lifestream updates"... because apparently the only thing that matters is a constant stream of your "friends" trying to have that golden one liner that launches them to e-fame...

The worst part is you can't get away from the Internet if you tried. To succeed in society you have to become a part of it. Everything is going online for school, good thing, because I love having homework due by Saturday at midnight... whereas 30 years ago I'm sure the teachers made their students walk to their office by midnight saturday to turn in their hard copies.... right?
Oh and on another note... ever notice how you can also do the same "liking" to various websites on porn sites? Talk about taking it too far... I'm sure that's caused some embarrassing conversations between a mother and her son.... "So son, I was on facebook today, and I noticed you "liked" a link..." ...ya? I like links all the time... "well this one was a video to a shemale orgy...." O.O
^ oh and I'm talking about an accidental misclick. I've accidentally clicked "like" then deleted it and it's still showed up in the news feed, but thankfully never pron...
