it doesn't sound like a a driver issue more that the virus has changed the setting in internet explorer
Launch Internet Explorer. 2. Click Tools and click Internet Options. 3. Click on Connections Tab and click on LAN Settings. 4. Make sure that below Proxy Server none of the options are checked. If anything is checked, please clear the box. If your computer is having problems connecting to the Internet, or to other computers on a network, try using one of the networking troubleshooters to fix the problem. 5.Open the Network troubleshooter by right-clicking the network icon in the notification area, and then clicking Troubleshoot problems 6.Open the Internet Connections troubleshooter by clicking the Start, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting. Under Network and Internet, click Connect to the Internet. and you can try this link http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windo...-Windows-7 if it a wireless network try this http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windo...r-problems finally you could download firefox onto a memory stick and install the as an alternate browser http://www.mozilla.org/products/download...lang=en-US HTH David Ads |
