I have this amazing idea for a social network website?

I have no idea where to start.... I've done a 39 page document on how it works and the financial side of it etc, I don't know how to take it from paper into reality, any idea on where to start?
It's nothing like Facebook which is why I'm excited by it.

Well starting any Social networking site is going to be hard..... you have the giants to go against Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (Owned by Facebook) etc. best place to start an see if it will work is on http://www.Kickstarter.com there you can get funding for your site and find out if it worthwhile by the amount of backers you get. You'll need to make a pretty good campaign though because you will be swiming amongst the sharks.
