How do i know how much data usage i need?

I'm getting an iPad , a 64gb 4g and i don't know what kind of data plan i should get. I use Netflix a lot and Facebook and twitter and id use the webcam alot as well as YouTube and downloading apps but i don't know what counts as data usage and what doesn't, can anyone help?

Hi Frank,

If you are using all those apps via wifi, the data usage would be very minimal.

But if you are constantly watching movies on Netflix on 4G and not wifi, its going to require a lot of data usage. So if you are doing that (which I dont recommend), you should buy the 5gb data plan.

If you are just browsing on facebook, 1gb or 3 gb should be plenty.

Also downloading apps count towards the data usage

Well, with my unemployment check; I plan on getting one of those too. I wonder what kind of data I should use? haha
