Does the Facebook, and Twitter app for Blackberrys need data ?
I don't have a data plan but I do have wifi ? Can't I juust use it off wifi with no charge?

Yes they need data if you don't have wifi. You already having wifi, So don't worry about it. Turn on your wifi & browse facebook & twitter.
