Now they want to cut Social Security & Medicare because there isn't enough money left?

How does that make sense? Shouldn't they be cutting defense spending so they don't have to borrow from Social Security?

A long time ago when people didn't live long past retirement the fund was awash with money just sitting gathering dust. So congress raided it from time to time. It was just too tempting to allow it to just sit there! Just imagine how messed up it would be if republicans had succeeded in linking Social Security to the stock market as they have attempted to several times in the past. You saw what happened to IRA's and 401K's, when the markets fell out a few years ago!

Okay. You win.

Let's NOT spend $750 Billion on the Military in 2013. Disband it. Not pay any retirements. Not buy any new weapons.

Just Delete it all.

You get your way.

NOW.....how do we pay for the Remaining $600 Billion we will go into Debt in 2013? You know, Debt caused by Entitlements?

Just curious.

To normal it doesn't make sense. To the evil , rich loving Republicans it makes a lot of sense.
That's because their goal is to decimate Social Security and Medicare by privatizing it and on top of that Romney was advocating increasing the Defense budget, on top of the misappropriated Social Security money

How can anyone be so perverse ?

Hope this helps
