how can i get more followers on tumblr and twitter?

i only have 79 followers on tumblr but i started like a week ago or something and i wanna get more followers my url is ; http://lemme-liveforever-goddammit.tumblr.com/
and on my twitter i only have 614 followers and ive had my twitter for the longest time ever!!! my tiwtter is @Katie_Official_

Usually what I do to get more followers on tumblr is
1) Find a picture that basically sums up your blog, or something that would fit well on your page
2) Go to the notes, this shows you who all has reblogged, liked, or shared that picture, story, ect.
3) Click on a random blog listed
4) Scroll through there blog if you like it follow it, most small blogs will follow back similar blogs
5) Repeat the process
