How should I organize a ultimate snowball fight?

Ok, so imagine this: you're on a snowy mountain hiding among the trees while your friends are hiding with you, ready to fling a plethora of snowballs to one of the opposing teams as they are helplessly walking by when suddenly your team is ambushed and a snowball battle ensues. This is the daydream that filled my mind and inspired my idea to have a ultimate snowball fight. I imagine it would be very much like paintball as in though that there would be teams and we would all be trying to get to the goal of a flag before all the other teams (or trying to find the person in the Sasquatch costume before all the other teams. I just thought of that possibility and I feel like that would make things very interesting but I would have to go out and spend the extra money on a costume that would only be worn once.) I'm thinking about having maybe 30 to 50 people be a part of this but with that amount of people my question comes up: how the heck will I be able to organize 30 or more fellow freshmen to be able to have an extreme snowball fight? Oh, and did I mention that the closest place to the southern California beach town is Big Bear, which is more than 100 miles away from my town? Yeah, there's a few hurdles in my way buy I know that I could be able to have a snowball fight if I try so can you guys help me organize and figure out everything that will need to be done so then this idea can actually happen and me and my friends can have one of the greatest winter breaks ever.
