What are Myspace friends?

I recently got Myspace so that I could stalk Josh Thomas haha, but it's my first account on that and I don't get it.
Ok, so Facebook friends: They see your posts and you can chat and vice versa
Twitter: Your followers see updates and you can privately message
So what about Myspace, can someone please explain it to me? Thanks
My username is just Angela Bates, I'm already friends with some celebrities but I just don't understand the concept of Myspace.

Myspace Friends are the Same Thing as Facebook Friends When you add Someone as a Friend and they Accepted the Request they can See your Photos And Comment on them as long as there not private and Write on there Profile and Everything

Well hardly anyone still uses myspace but back when I would use it I would add friends to talk to them and send messages and play the old app games that they used to have. I also used to role play on it too. Then after myspace made the switch we all moved to either sitemodel.net or roleplayer.me which are replicas of myspace 1.0.
